The Adustum Forest is so named because it has been victim to a large fire in the last fifty years and is still healing. The forest is a beautiful combination of deciduous trees, and turns a beautiful auburn in the fall. The undergrowth is thick and lush, with plenty of cover for the hunting wolf. It would be impossible to know that there was a fire if in another part of the forest for it is virtually untouched by any damage except in the center. In a 15 mile radius there is a black group of trees some have started to grow back and some have just crumbled into pieces of bark that are now being used by birds and other forest creatures.
